Clear rules,
no surprises
These are the terms for using McCrafter and its tools. We've written them in plain language: no fine print, no tricks and no unnecessary legalese.
In short
If you don't want to read everything, the key points fit in these few lines.
McCrafter is a free site of tools for Minecraft Bedrock. You can use it as many times as you like, generate your packs and apply them in the game without paying anything.
In return, we ask for something reasonable: use it to create your own things, respect third parties' copyright and don't use it to cause harm. And keep in mind that the tools are offered "as is": they're useful, but they're not infallible.
Use of the website
What entering and browsing McCrafter means.
By accessing and using McCrafter, you accept these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. If for any reason you don't agree with something, we ask that you do not use the site.
The site is intended for anyone interested in customizing Minecraft Bedrock. There is no legal minimum age here, but if you are a minor, we recommend that you use it with your family's permission or supervision, especially when downloading files to your device.
Permitted use of the site
What you can do (which is a lot) and what you can't.
Use the tools as many times as you want
Generate as many skins, music packs and textures as you need, both for personal use and to share your creations with friends or the community.
Share your creations
Whatever you generate with McCrafter (and that is your content or content you have permission to use) you can share, upload to social media, make videos with or use on servers and private worlds.
Don't use illegal content or others' content without permission
Don't upload or use images, audio or materials that do not belong to you or that you are not authorized to use (copyrighted songs, other people's private photos, trademarks, etc.).
Don't generate offensive or harmful content
No skins, textures or packs with illegal, hateful, violent or sexual content, or content that attacks other people. It is also not allowed to use the site to harass or impersonate someone.
Don't try to break the site
Don't use bots, scrapers, exploits or attempt to overload the service. Also, don't use the site to distribute malware or dangerous files.
Don't resell the tools
McCrafter is free and we want it to stay that way. You are not allowed to charge other people for merely using the tools (what you generate with them is indeed yours; that part is different).
Use of the online tools
How the Disc Editor, the Skin Converter, the Bed Editor and any tool we add work in practice.
"As is" operation
The tools are offered as they are, with no guarantee that they will work on every device, browser or version of the game. We do our best to make them work well, but we can't promise they'll be perfect.
Compatibility with Minecraft
The files are designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Whether your pack or skin loads correctly also depends on the game, on its version and, sometimes, on the server where you play.
Changes and maintenance
We may add, modify or remove tools at any time, improve features, change options or update the interface. We'll try to announce important changes from the site itself.
Availability
We try to keep the site available at all times, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical problems or causes beyond our control.
Local processing in the browser
Why it matters for the terms and for you.
All of McCrafter's tools run directly in your browser. We don't see what you upload, we can't modify it and we don't keep a copy.
This means that the responsibility for what you upload and generate is yours: if you upload an image or audio, you assume that you have the right to use them. We can't review your content because, quite simply, it never reaches our servers.
If you want to learn more about how this works, you can read the Privacy Policy.
User files and images
Who owns what when you use the tools.
What you contribute stays yours
The images, audio, textures and any file you upload remain the property of their original owner. McCrafter does not acquire any rights over them.
You guarantee that you have permission
By using a tool you declare that you have the right to use the content you upload (it's yours, it's free to use, or you have authorization). If you don't, don't upload it.
What you generate is also yours
The final files (skins in .PNG, packs .mcpack,
.mcaddon, etc.) belong to you to the extent
that the base content did. You can use them, share them or publish them
however you prefer.
We don't keep your files
Since everything is processed locally, we don't store anything of what you upload or what you generate. If you close the tab before downloading, that session is lost.
Intellectual property
What each party owns.
The site and its tools
The design, code, texts, logo and the McCrafter brand are the property of their authors. You can use the site freely, but you cannot copy it in full or clone it to pass it off as your own.
Your content
The images, songs and files you contribute are yours or belong to whoever holds their rights. McCrafter does not retain any license over them.
Third-party trademarks
Minecraft, its logos and related elements are trademarks of Mojang Studios and Microsoft. Here we use them only descriptively, without claiming any rights over them.
Icons and fonts
The site uses third-party resources such as Font Awesome and Google Fonts (Inter). Each keeps its own licenses and rights.
Limitation of liability
We do everything we can to make it useful, but some things are out of our hands.
External links
Once we leave the site, we no longer control what you see.
Donations (Buy Me a Coffee)
Supporting is optional and never changes your access to the site.
Voluntary contribution
McCrafter is and will remain free. Donations through Buy Me a Coffee are entirely voluntary and do not grant access to tools, features or extra content.
Payment is handled by Buy Me a Coffee
By donating you accept the terms and the privacy policy of Buy Me a Coffee. We do not process payments or handle banking data.
Refunds
By their nature, donations are not refundable by McCrafter. If you need a refund, you must request it directly from Buy Me a Coffee according to their policies.
Future changes to the terms
If we update anything, we'll tell you on the page itself.
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time if we add new tools, change how they work or want to explain something better. When we do, we'll update the "Updated" date you see above.
If the changes are important, we'll point them out clearly and visibly on the site. Continuing to use McCrafter after a change means that you accept the new version.
About Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft
An important clarification to avoid confusion.
McCrafter is an independent project made by fans for fans of Minecraft. It is not associated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Mojang Studios, Microsoft or any of their official teams.
Minecraft, the Minecraft logo and related names are registered trademarks of Mojang Studios and Microsoft. Here we mention them solely for descriptive purposes, to explain what our tools are for (for example, "skin for Minecraft Bedrock" or "pack compatible with Minecraft").
