Your privacy, always first
At McCrafter we don't need your data for the tools to work. All processing happens locally in your browser: your files, images and projects never leave your device.
In short
The most important points in a few lines, without complicated legal language.
McCrafter is a set of free tools for customizing
Minecraft Bedrock. Everything (converting skins, editing discs, texturing beds, generating
.mcpack) happens in your own browser.
There's no need to create an account, we don't collect your files, we don't upload your images or your songs to any server, and we don't sell information to anyone. Whatever you create stays with you.
Website usage
What happens when you visit mccrafter.com.
When you browse McCrafter, your browser makes normal requests to load the pages: HTML, stylesheets, images and scripts. That's something every website in the world does.
That loading information may include things like your approximate IP address, the browser and device you use and the page you came from. This data is managed by the service where the site is hosted (for example, our hosting provider or CDN), not by us directly, and it's used solely to keep the site running and secure.
We don't identify you personally. We don't know who you are and we don't cross-reference that data with anything else.
Using the online tools
The Disc Editor, the Skin Converter, the Bed Editor and any future tool always follow the same idea.
You don't need an account
There's no registration, login or profile. You open the tool and use it right away.
Everything runs in your browser
The conversions, the packaging of the .mcpack or
.mcaddon, the previews and the calculations are done by
your own device, not a server.
Your files are not uploaded
The images, songs and files you drag in are never sent to any server of ours. We don't store them, we don't analyze them and we can't see them.
You download the result yourself
When your pack is ready, it downloads directly from your browser to your device. We don't keep a copy.
Local processing in the browser
What "local processing" means exactly.
When you open a McCrafter tool, your browser downloads the code (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) that makes it work. From there, everything you do happens inside your own browser: nothing goes back out to us.
That means that when you upload an image, an audio file or any file, that file only exists in the temporary memory of your tab. We process it right there and generate the result on your machine.
User files and images
What we do (and don't do) with the content you provide.
Images (skins, textures, photos)
When you upload an image to the Skin Converter or the Bed Editor, that image loads only in your browser. It's used to generate the preview and the final file, and it's discarded when you close the tab.
Audio (music, discs)
The songs you add to the Disc Editor are processed locally to convert them to the format Minecraft uses. The audio is never uploaded to a server nor shared with anyone.
Generated files (.mcpack, .mcaddon, .png)
The result is built in your browser and downloaded to your device. We don't keep a copy nor do we keep a record of what you generated.
We don't see your content
Since nothing is uploaded, we can't see, review, or recover the images, audio or packs you created. If you lose the file, you'll have to generate it again.
What we do NOT collect
To make it clear what we will never ask you for.
Personal data
We don't ask you for name, email, phone, age or location. There's no need to create an account to use anything on the site.
Accounts or passwords
Since there's no registration, we don't handle passwords nor any kind of login data.
Payment information
The tools are free. We don't process payments. If you decide to support us with a coffee through Buy Me a Coffee, that payment is handled by that platform, not McCrafter.
Your Minecraft account
We never ask you for your Microsoft, Mojang or Minecraft account. McCrafter has no way to connect to your game.
Your created content
The skins, packs, images and audio you generate stay on your device. We don't store them or share them with third parties.
Children and minors
We know that Minecraft is played by a lot of young people, so let's make this clear.
Since McCrafter doesn't ask for or collect personal data from anyone (no registration, no email, no profile), we don't collect data from minors either. The site can be used with peace of mind.
Even so, we recommend that if you are a minor you use the site with the supervision of an adult, especially when downloading and installing packs on your device or following links to external pages such as social media or Buy Me a Coffee.
External links
Once we leave the site, we no longer control what happens.
Donations (Buy Me a Coffee)
If you decide to buy us a coffee, it's handled by the platform, not McCrafter.
The "Buy me a coffee" button opens the external site Buy Me a Coffee. The entire payment process (card, email, billing details) happens on their platform, under their own privacy policy.
McCrafter does not receive or store payment data (card numbers, emails, addresses). We only see aggregated, public information from the platform, such as the name or message you choose to display when supporting us.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, we'll tell you on the page itself.
We may update this policy when we add new tools, change how the site works or improve the way we explain it. When we do, we'll update the date you see above as "Updated".
If the changes are major (for example, if at some point we added an optional feature that did require personal data), we'll make it very clear and visible on the site before it affects your use of the tools.
About Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft
An important clarification so there's no confusion.
McCrafter is an independent project made by fans. We are not associated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Mojang Studios, Microsoft or any of their official teams.
Minecraft, the Minecraft logo and related names are registered trademarks of Mojang Studios and Microsoft. Here we use them only descriptively to explain what our tools are for (for example, "skin for Minecraft Bedrock").
If you want more official information, you can visit minecraft.net.
